Build Muscles Quickly

Build Muscles Quickly

If you're a bodybuilder, your first concern is probably how you can build your muscles fast! But many people don't gain muscle weight as fast as they want and become frustrated. If you're discouraged because you're not seeing the results you want, keep reading.

I'm about to share five tips to help you build muscle faster and easier. These tips are practical, successful, and easy to implement:

1. Harness the Power of Visualization. Visualize yourself the way you want to look with the muscles you want to achieve. Imagine how your body will stand out in a crowd and the kinds of looks you will get. Imagine how good you will feel. Visualization harnesses the power of the subconscious to make what you see become reality. When you hold an image in your mind continually, you change your actual behaviors to help create that image as reality. It also boosts levels of confidence and motivation and that keeps you moving forward to achieve the goal. Practice visualizing yourself as you want to look for 10 minutes per day and see what a positive affect it has on your progress.Lots of pro athletes including David Beckham, Tiger Woods, and Usain Bolt regularly incorporate visualization as a part of their training routine and attribute this to their great success. If guys like this are using visualization, you should be, too!

2. Shake Things Up a Bit With Variety. Keep your routine varied and interesting so you don't get bored and want to quit. Utilize compound sets. This means to do a set of exercises for a particular muscle group and then switch to a different exercise that will also exercise the same muscle group right afterward. For instance, you could bench press first and then do some dumbbell flies. This will have you feeling the burn! You can also maximize your muscle growth with the use of giant sets, drop sets, super sets, partials, and other techniques.

3. Snack Smart for Muscle Energy. Eat for workout energy. About 1 ½ hours prior to your workout, eat a hearty snack. Then, about 30 minutes prior to working out, eat a piece of fruit. After your workout, pack in a big helping of protein and carbs. Be sure to eat just before going to sleep for the evening and as soon as you rise in the morning, too. This is because your muscles actually grow while you rest at night-and they need calories to burn for energy to grow.

4. Limit Workouts to 45 Minutes Max. Because of the way your body works, certain hormones are released at various times or periods during or after working out. The ideal workout time is less than 45 minutes, prior to the time when the hormones that hinder muscle building are released. In fact, working out for 30 minutes is the ideal. This provides for the optimum hormone levels to help your workouts generate muscle mass. It also ensures you still have the energy needed to grow your muscles.

5. Focus On Your Goals. When you are training, keep your goals in the forefront of your mind. Visualize that desired result. Concentrate and don't let your mind wander. Think about the exercises you are performing. Work out, train hard, and then move on with your day. While you're working out, keeping a training log or journal and wearing a headset can help you stay focused and motivated.

You may wish to set goals for each workout to keep you focused, as well. There they are!

Five tips to help you build muscle fast. Put them into practice and you, too, can have great bodybuilding results.
